I interviewed the mall preacher…

Last Thursday I had to opportunity to interview the famous ECU mall preacher. I interviewed him about being judgmental. We used part of this interview in a video we showed before week two of Discovery Church’s current series – 6 Things I hate about Christians.

Discovery Church Interviews the ECU Mall Preacher from Discovery Church on Vimeo.

Special thanks to the mall preacher for being so open to being interviewed on camera.

  1. Excellent interview, hats off to Brad. The Mall preacher displayed a fantastic ability to quote scripture, but, did anyone besides myself take notice that the Gospel was never as much as hinted at? The majority of his responses was the condemnation of sin and lifestyle choices, and at the same time he avoids vitally important information only contained in the Gospel of the Grace of God given to the apostle Paul alone for us in this present dispensation of the Grace of God. This proves it is not enough to be Biblical and scriptural, we MUST of neccessity be dispensational!!We are not sinners because we sin, in fact, we sin because we are sinners. We are not in the position to judge sin unless we are also in the position to cast the sentence. Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. The sin issue has already been judged, and the price for sin has already been paid. Nobody alive today will go to Hell for their sin, they will only go to Hell for rejecting the Gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the 3rd day with victory over death, Hell and the grave, that is OUR message!!!You place your faith and trust in the Gospel and God counts your faith for righteousness and places you in the body of Christ, forgiving you ALL tresspasses, seals you unto the day of redemption, you are COMPLETE IN CHRIST!As a matter of fact, God has not imputed anyone’s sin unto them for about 2000 years now….2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation….the sin issue is off the table….the issue is the Gospel of the Grace of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.Has God changed His mind about sin?…God forbid!..That is where the “worthy walk” kicks in. It is a war in our members as Paul tells us in Romans 7, the answer to sin is STOP IT!!..Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord….dead reckoning!!2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him…….When you trust in Christ’s provision for your sins, God imputes Christ’s righteousness to your account, and at the same time judicially seats you in heavenly places…Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:Anyway, before I write a study outline it comes down to this…sin should not be the focus, but Jesus who paid for them ALL!!!….the Gospel, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4.Grace and Peace!!
