Time is winding down! I will be in NYC before I know it. I am very thankful for all of the people who have stepped up and became financial partners for Tribecca.
So far I have currently raised 80% of my support that goes to Campus Crusade. I still have to purchase my airfare as well. I am booking the airfare for the North Carolina kids so we can all travel together (they are paying me back). One of the girls has NEVER flown before! She was thinking about taking the train, but the arrivals for it REALLY don’t work well. Plane tickets are right now about $250 bucks each. I think it would be amazing if somebody felt led to support the North Carolina project goers by donating $1000 to cover our airfare! That would really be a blessing for them – many of the NC people have not raised as much support as I have.
Our briefing in Gatlinburg was absolutely amazing. The people who are going on this project are awesome. Everybody is pumped up for the upcoming summer!
If you are planning on partnering with me financially please do so before May 31st when my support is due. Please continue to lift the project up in prayer. We are praying for God to do BIG things this summer!
As most of you have read earlier – here – I am going NYC for this summer to work with Campus Crusade in summer missions.
In order to make this possible, I need to develop a team of ministry partners… a group of people like you who would give to make this project possible. This is definitely one of the biggest steps of faith I have ever made. I need a total of $4,000 by May 31 which covers room and board for the summer as well as transportation. I invite you to prayerfully consider joining my team by giving a financial gift to this project. If you would like more information on how to give towards the Tribecca project please email me at bjc0411(at)ecu.edu
More than anything I need your prayers as I embark on this adventure following the Lord this summer. Thank you for considering joining my team to help reach people for Christ in New York City this summer!
Thanks to Claude – I have now collected my first donation to my Tribecca fund! This really excited me that I am now on my way to NYC.
I have mentioned earlier on this blog about how this summer I have an incredible opportunity to take part in a summer mission project sponsored by Campus Crusade. I will be going with approximately 90 other students from across the country to New York City. A summer spent on a project like this can be invaluable. New York provides an environment for outreach that no other place in the world can offer.
The last US Census revealed that Queens Borough in NYC was the most diverse place on the planet. The college campuses on NYC are no less so. NYC campuses represent students from a variety of ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. In one afternoon I could meet someone from every continent. While in New York I will be exposed to a range of ministry experiences in discipleship and evangelism. This is an amazing opportunity to reach out to this unique urban center that’s been called “The Capital of the World”
Stay tuned and I will let all of yall know how to join my team of ministry partners.
